Karen Maree is a well-practised news editor who along with being just about the most avid sports fan in Oz, has also been in the media business for the best part of 20 years.
Starting out as a bright eyed and bush tailed young journo in Melbourne, Maree moved rapidly through the ranks and ended up producing a small, regional Rugby League magazine.
Moving on from print media to the wonderful world of online sports news, Maree joined the Panda Sports crew within her first week in Queensland and hasn’t looked back since.
Giving the Panda team the yay or nay on what goes live on the site, Maree is known to add her own stamp on the stories adding in interesting facts only a die-hard sports enthusiast could recall off the cuff as she does.
